We just had our 6th year anniversary! We had a wonderful night away together! This year we (ok just me!) decided to relive our wedding and take some anniversary pictures! Nikaela is such an amazing photographer and we had so much fun in this shoot. I can't show you ALL the pictures but here's some of our favorites

Sister's retreat
The very next day after I got back from girls camp I headed over to our annual sister's reteat! It was so much fun getting together with my sisters and Mom! We always have so much fun together! We shopped, went out to eat, each person taught something and/or had a craft for everyone to do and of course talked and talked! After shopping and finding this cute skirt I was inspired, after a few fashion classes taught, to accessorize it and create this outfit for church the next day. Although hubby didn't like it I got a few compliments on it and felt successful! I think us girls like to mix things up but guys would rather stick to the norm....haha. Oh well
I especially love that little guy to the right...nice porter :)
Girls Camp
After months of preparation I finally went to girls camp this last week. I always come back so spiritually uplifted and this time exhausted. Last year I was over the first years and got so much sleep. However this year being over the YCLs and Certification for the stake, sleep was not something I got much of! These girls amaze me so much. They have strong testimonies and we had quite a few new members and non members and it was so neat to see them grow. They made me want to be a better person. I'm grateful for the opportunity I had to go!
Swim Lessons have started!
We are so excited that swim lessons have started again!! Last year both Porter and Mason did so well and learned how to swim! It's at a different pool which we are a little bummed about, (no zero depth entry, diving board and the slide is in the deep end so they are not sure they'll be able to let the kids slide down which was Mason's favorite part!) but so excited to get in the water everyday while it' so darn hot outside!
The first day Mason cried the entire 40mins so I just kept sticking him back in the water, but since then he's been awesome and can't wait to go to swim lessons! Porter has been a great big brother and example showing him how fun swim can be! For some reason their class has a TON of older kids, like 10 years old. It's funny to see them with my little boys but it makes me so proud of them!
Helping dad...
If you know Brent at all you know that anything he does, he does well! Any home improvements we've done he usually takes it upon himself to make sure it looks the best it can. We let the kids help where and when they can and today they got to help sand our kitchen table. They love to be "worker mans" and help daddy! They did a great job and I think it turned out AMAZING!!!! Love it!
