OUR Dessert

I came out here to Arizona City not expecting to like it, let alone love it. The open space is a dream! To be able to go out to the dessert that's just in our backyard is so much fun, I know my boys have loved it! We were fortunete to have a get a quad when we moved out here and have had many romantic, fun rides off into the dessert. :) The Other day Brent wanted to see if he could find any shells he could use to reload ammo. Each of them, as you can see, had their own little bucket or basket and had a great time, even though it was probably 95 degrees out, following daddys lead finding shells.

It was so cute to watch who they love to be like Brent! Mason was especially funny to watch as he carried his bucket around like a purse with bent elbow and all. He would find something, bend over and practically spill all that he previously had in his bucket to add another treasure to his lot. He would wonder far from us with no worries in the world
.

Porter was great at picking out just the right ones and matching the colors and types that he found. He just loves showing Mason how to do things. Many times I will tell Porter to "show" Mason how to eat something or do something that I really want Porter to do, just so he'll do it. I'm pretty sneaky, watch out!

Day Date

Day Date at the Titan Missile museum in Tucson containing a decommissioned nuclear silo which happens to be the only one you can tour in the world. And it happens to be in our own backyard, well 45 miles away. We thought we'de take advantage of where we live. This was a very fun date. The tour was so neat! I love that Brent loves learning new things too!

Stuck in a pickle....

...Or should I say POT?!

Mason found an interesting place to sit and of course instead of getting him out like a good mom would, I ran for my camera, also, ironically, what a good mom would do.

Having fun in my pot...

Ok not so fun...
Mommy, get me out of here! I'm done playing...

YOU DID IT HON! You Graduated!!

We are all so proud of our graduate! Juggling, at times a full time job, 2 children a wife who wants all his time, recovering from a major accident, landscaping our home and full time school with a super hard major this is quite the accomplishment. Very very stressful at times he was able to stay focused and get er done! We had a fun time putting together a Final Exam for all those who went to his graduation party so we could see if anyone else knew what he has gone through. Can you find him in the crowd of engineer grads?

Brent's always told me he wants bagpipes at his funeral and here they are at his graduation, I guess he gets them at more than one milestone :)

Porter got to stay up late so he could see his daddy graduate. Honestly it was a pretty boring experience for him, as we guessed, but an important thing for him to be at. We hopes this helps him realize the importance of a good education. He's been talking about it a lot lately so I think he got the idea. :)
