Happy Mothers & Fathers day

I think we both got spoiled rotten for Mothers and Fathers day! The boys (and by boys I mean Brent) surprised me with a massage!! It felt great! And then we all went out to my favorite, Olive Garden! At Porter's school all the moms were invited into the classroom to hear the kids sing songs to us, give us a homemade gift and get cookies! So fun!

For dad we went strawberry picking and then made some yummy strawberry Jam! Just for him!! He also got a new monitor for his computer and a picture and bio from Porter and Mason. I also got to speak at church  that day so he got to hear what a great dad I think he is!

Bowling

We got some free bowling for the summer and went for the first time yesterday. Aunt Lynette joined us and we had fun! The boys did really good and Porter was especially into it the whole time, he got really creative with his throws and celebrations like rolling on the ground. Funny boy! Mason even beat everyone and got 102 points! (with bumpers of course).

I had to add this picture because Bennett is just staring down the camera! lol!

SNOW!! In June??

We knew to expect colder weather and lots of rain but snow?!...in June?? Nope just looks like snow. The first time I saw it I couldn't get over how beautiful and snow like it was. This is actually cotton from a neighbors cottonwood tree! Sure is beautiful!

SOOO...........We moved to Oregon!!

So....we moved to Beaverton Oregon and couldn't be happier! I know this is cruel but I read people on facebook complaining about the heat and am SO HAPPY I'm not there in AZ suffering in it!! Give me about 8months and I'm sure I'll be cold to the bone but so far it's amazing!! The best part is that our boys are outside playing 95% of the time they're awake! LOVE THAT!! We have been here over 2months and still haven't put up our TV! How cools is that?!!

Before we left Brent's sister's threw us a going away party! It was AWESOME! The food was great and we had lots of people come and say goodbye. I think the coolest part was the cake they had for us! It said "So you're moving.....who gives a CRAP?" Even had a roll of tp added to it! Too funny!
We've enjoyed the outdoors a lot since we've been here! The weather is just so nice! Make sure to stretch before going!

Eric came to visit!! So fun!
We;ve also really gotten in to Legos since we got here! We love building and creating!
Love being outside on the swings
We practice our spelling with SCRABBLE Cheez-its

For Porter's bday we went to skateworld!
Since the boys are always outside we bought a trampoline and we, along with all the neighborhood kids love it

So to summarize...we moved AND we LOVE IT HERE!!!!

While daddy's away the family will play

So while Dad was away in Oregon working hard at his new job and finding us a house to live in we played a LOT! Maybe I was just better at taking pictures as I wanted to keep Brent updated on what we were up to but it was also a way to keep me sane. Here are the highlights...all with a newborn.

We went to California for about a week and a half to visit Camille and her fam, the Curtis family met up with us for part of our visit! TOO FUN! Here we are at the Midway Aircraft carrier! Very Cool museum!!
Every night Aunt Jene would tell us stories from the scriptures! One of our favorite things we did everyday! Similar to what Daddy would do with us at bedtime.
Mason was very busy building cities and amazing things with blocks and legos
We went to the Laveen city parade
Building bridges while Porter was away at school.
Went to the park and fed ducks
Watching the planes fly by before the parade.
Ready for the fun and candy to start coming!
Valentines day I made pink, heart shaped pancakes...something daddy would do if he were here.
 California beach fun with cousins

Went to a cave in Cali
 Bedtime with brothers
Since we were packing up our house and there were a million boxes around we made a REALLY cool fort to play in for weeks
Daddy sent us a package full of all sorts of fun gifts to open and play with!! SO FUN!!!!
We went to skateland and the boys LOVED IT!!!

 More building
 Skateland with our fun cousins!
Easter was full of fun! We went to all the family parties and had a blast
Although we missed Dad we made sure to keep busy having fun and packing.

Baby Bennett Calhoun Olsen

Introducing Bennett Calhoun Olsen born January 18th at 7:30am weighing 8lbs 10oz
Bennett has been such a sweet addition to our family! With a  year gap between Mason and Bennett we sure were ready for him!! He is such a sweetie! And we can't get enough of him!! Porter and Mason adore their little brother. They want to wake him up to play with him but are very good and don't do it. They love to make him laugh, hold him, see him roll over and are excited about the new things Bennett is learning and doing! Brent is often saying "He's always smiling! He is definitely our happiest baby!". He was an angel for mommy! When Brent got a job in Oregon he went there to find a home for our family and was there for 6 weeks before we got to join him, Bennett was 6weeks when he left, and twice as old when he returned. To this day Bennett is 6 weeks to daddy ;). He started sleeping through the night early and has been a good napper and a happy child! Thank goodness for the sake of my sanity! 6 weeks with a newborn and 2 other boys would have made me crazy otherwise! I also had some AMAZING friends and family come and help out during that time!
He's about ready to come!
Our family  with the newest edition!
Love this picture of him, about 8 weeks
He loves his brothers and they love him!
 Already so talented!
A little camera shy....NOT! We've done quite a bit of hiking and BENNETT LOVES looking at all the big trees and nature while riding on daddy's back!
Our big happy boy, about 5 months old here

=Beautiful Oregon, Sunday Walk

We live in such a gorgeous place! We can literally walk to somewhere like this or take a short drive and enjoy a beautiful walk! We LOVE it!!! This was our first family hike/walk that we took this past Sunday. Bennett got strapped in on daddy's back and enjoyed every minute! He looked up at the tall trees the entire time in AWE! Porter and Mason loved the hike and at the end helped daddy pick some Nettle (a poisonous plant you can cook and eat.) It was gorgeous and we had a fun time as a family!!
